What is Lotus Hour?

For years, I have been a friend to those seeking inspiration, help, or advice. With my spiritual gifts, I finally decided to be intentional about helping women outside of my inner circle. This was the beginning of my women’s ministry, Lotus Hour. Through my ministry, I specifically focus on my faith and all the lessons God has taught me along the way and wellness - self-care and mental health, two things I am deeply passionated about. As we go through our faith walk or experience mental health issues, there can be dark days and dry seasons. Lotus Hour’s slogan is to Emphasize Beauty in Distress. As we are going through those hard times, that is where faith, strength, and perseverance are birthed. April showers bring May flowers.

A lotus represents healing and rebirth. As a Lotus is a beautiful flower grown in muddy places or swamps, I want to encourage women to keep blooming into the woman God is calling them to be despite how messy things may look in their life.

Lotus Hour should be a community where people can come together to be transparent and grow while they are here. I created this space for others to gain inspiration and encouragement from me while I am also receiving it from the women I connect with.
